Crimped Wire Mesh Definition

Plain crimp weave it is a simple style of crimping in which warp wire and weft wire intersect at every crimps or corrugations

Intercrimp weave it is a type of pre-crimp weaving that warp wire and weft wires intersection occur at the points of every odd number

The flat top crimp The wire is same to lock crimp weaving, the difference is all of its crimps or corrugations is offset to the bottom side of screen

Lock crimp weave the warp wire and weft wire is crimping at the points of intersection and have clearing bumps, while the wires on a lock crimp are straight between intersections.

Slot hole crimped it is a specialty style hat the warp wire and weft wire are precrimped by different weaving process , that create a rectangular hole and ensure maximum open areas  

Crimped Wire Mesh Processing

The crimped wire mesh is woven using wire crimped prior to weaving. The crimps are made at the points the shute and warp wires intersect which secures the wire, thereby stabilizing the wire cloth and preventing the wire from moving. Additional rigidity and strength can be obtained by adding crimps. Crimped wire provides a more secure fit to the mesh, limiting movement of the space cloth. This results in more accurate and consistent opening sizes within the mesh.
