Sieve Bend Screen Working Principle

Liquid is fed either by gravity or pump pressure via the admission chamber over the full screen width, to pass over the curved slotted screen plate. As the screen is curved, the dynamic force increases the screen capacity. A hinged partition ensures maximum usage of the screen and causes the liquid passes through the slotted screen to flow to the outlet connection. The separated solid particles continuously slide down the screen surface to be collected in a container, screw conveyor or dewatering press.
